罗中立，1948年生，重庆人。1982年毕业于四川美院油画系，1983-1986年在比利时安特卫普美院研修部进修。作品《父亲》获“第二届全国青年美展”一等奖。曾在纽约、芝加哥、波士顿，布鲁塞尔、悉尼、北京、台湾等地举办个展。台湾“山艺术文教基金会”设立了“罗中立油画奖学金”。现为四川美院院长，中国美术家协会副主席。作品被中国美术馆、上海美术馆、中国台湾山美术馆、美国哈佛大学、美国俄克拉荷马州立美术馆、新加坡美术馆、比利时国家历史博物馆等海内外艺术机构及私人广泛收藏。
Born in Sichuan Province. Graduated in 1982 from the Oil
Painting Department of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts， and
from 1983 to 1986 studied in Antwerp Royal Academy of
Fine Arts in Belgium. Now an associate professor at
Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts and council member of China
Artist’s Association. His oil painting“Father”won the
first prize at the 2nd National Youth Art Exhibition in
1981. His solo shows were held at Harvard University， in
Beijing， Taiwan， and Belgium. His works are collected by
National Art Museum of China and other overseas
collectors and art institutions. |
