虎踞龙盘，占尽天时地利，王宏江先生的这幅浓墨重彩之作——《将帅之才》，以浑厚的线条、精简的色彩、滋润的笔墨将林中之王虎虎生风的精神气貌展现得淋漓尽致。
　　作者先以简淡的橘色勾勒筋骨，纯净高古，后用滋润的墨色晕染虎身及树干的轮廓，使得线条走向浓淡适宜、刚柔有度、变化多端，以滑滋的泼墨挥洒枝叶，凝翠丹华，生机勃勃。老虎稳踞树下，双目炯炯；古树绿盖如茵，虬枝劲节，老虎雄健沉稳的王者之风与古树苍劲坚韧的君子之气相互映衬，相得益彰，象征了作者雄才大略的人生报复与厚德载物的人生修为。整幅画作透射出强有力的生命脉动，带给观者踔厉风发的精神气息。

　　like a coiling dragon and a crouching tiger occupies the advantage of the favourable climate and geographical position, Mr. Wang Hongjiang’s generous colored work　— “Supreme Commander” shows the grandeur mental outlook of the king of the forest thoroughly by the vigorous lines, simplified colors and moistened brush and ink.
　　The author outlined the physique with simple light orange at the beginning to give it a pure and primitive tune. Then he smudged the contours of the tiger’s body and the trunk with moistened pen to make the lines curve properly from thick to thin and couple hardness with softness which unpredictably depicted the essence vigorously with a casual and elegant manner. The tiger is crouching under the tree steadily with brightly shining eyes. The old tree gives shade like a canopy with its strong dragon-like branches. The robust, sedate and kinglike tiger and the tenacious, hardy and gentlemanlike pine complement each other. It symbolizes the author’s ambition with great talent and bold vision and life cultivation with self-discipline and social commitment. The entire painting gives off a powerful vitality which encourages the viewers.
